Spellings – English & Gaeilge (test every Friday)
English Spellings - Becky's Class:

 English Spellings - Aoife's Class:
The ‘Learning Words’ test will not be unlocked until all grids have been learned. This will be completed in school. It would be useful to bring in a set of headphones/earphones when you are ready to take the test.

Gaeilge Spellings - Both Classes:
Remember: For the Irish spellings, you need to know the Irish and the English for each word / phrase.

Gaeilge – Reading Léigh sa Bhaile:
•   Monday and Tuesday night read and answer the questions (verbally) for 'Feicim le mo Shúilin Beag' lch.31
•  Wednesday and Thursday night read and answer the questions (verbally)  for ‘Anraith Meall Súile’ lch. 32
These answers do not need to be written down. 
This is a chance to practise reading and comprehension skills as Gaeilge.


English: Reading – Read library book for 10 minutes every evening (don't forget to write a book review once you have finished).

Becky's Class Writing Homework – Grammar worksheet:
Please complete days 27 and 28 by Friday

Aoife's Class Writing Homework – Spellings for Me Booklet:
Using the booklet provided, learn your ‘Learning Words’. These have been printed and given out to you also. Work through the booklet for ‘Grid 1’ this week. You should work on the grid for as many weeks as needed to learn them. The ‘Learning Words’ test will not be unlocked until all grids have been learned. This will be completed in school. It would be useful to bring in a set of headphones/earphones when you are ready to take the test.

Maths – Times Tables:
3 times tables. p. 24 in Tables Champion.

Remember, simply completing the Tables Champion task, each night, is not enough to learn your tables.

Script for 3rd Class Performance - The Bee Musical Please note: We will be adapting the script over the next couple of weeks, so have decided not to print it yet. Anyone who would like to audition for a 'bigger' part should choose a page or two to rehearse ahead of the mini auditions tomorrow. I (Aoife) reccommend practising the 'Grumble Bee' lines as it will give a good indication of who is suited to which role. Grumble Bee has to show a range of emotions and has a number of lines. Remember, just practise a page or two worth of lines - the audition will not be long. Words do not need to be learned off by heart, we just want to see how animated etc. each child can be when taking on a role. Thanks, Aoife and Becky
