Spellings – English & Gaeilge (test every Friday) Gaeilge – Reading Léigh sa Bhaile •        Monday and Tuesday night read and answer the questions (verbally) for ‘Clár Telifíse’ lch. 5 •        Wednesday and Thursday night read and answer the questions (verbally)   for ‘Siopa Leabhar’ lch. 6 These do not need to be written into homework copies. This is a chance to practise reading and comprehension skills as Gaeilge. English – Read library book for 10 minutes every evening Writing - put 5 trickiest spellings into 'super' sentences to show their meaning (use a dictionary if unsure of the meanings of some words but make sure your sentences are not just the dictionary definition) Maths – Tables Champion p. 9 (+4, -4) Country & Capital - Italy, Rome. Note: Please remember to rule your page and include a date and title.

Homework 9th - 13th September

Children should spend no more than 30-40 mins each night on homework All homework will be collected and corrected on a Friday except for Tables Champion. Please ensure your child completes this every evening so we can correct it in school the next morning. There are 3 extension spellings at the end of the spelling list. Children who are finding the first 10 spellings challenging do not need to move on and learn the extension spellings, otherwise we expect everyone to give them a go.
