The Bee Musical

Hello parents, Rehearsals for The Bee Musical are well underway. The children from both classes know the parts they will be playing and should be working hard to perfect their lines and acting skills. As a result, we decided not to give homework this week. It is expected that the children use this time to practise as much as possible. We are really looking forward to performing for you all. Costumes: Narrator / Newsreader - Smart clothes (dress / skirt  / trousers / suit jacket etc. Whatever you have available in your wardrobe) Bees (any bee including drones/worker bees/nectar team/bee team etc.) - Bee Attire: Black clothes or a bee costume if you already have one. There is no need to buy a costume. Black clothes will be fine. Wings - any wings will do, if you do not already have wings, these can be made (either at home or in school). Bee antennae (again, these can be made using hairbands and pipecleaners). Pollen baskets to be placed on knees (yoghurt pots / mini baskets cou

The Bee Musical - Script

Script for 3rd Class Performance - The Bee Musical Please note: We will be adapting the script over the next couple of weeks, so have decided not to print it yet. Anyone who would like to audition for a 'bigger' part should choose a page or two to rehearse ahead of the mini auditions tomorrow. I (Aoife) reccommend practising the 'Grumble Bee' lines as it will give a good indication of who is suited to which role. Grumble Bee has to show a range of emotions and has a number of lines. Remember, just practise a page or two worth of lines - the audition will not be long. Words do not need to be learned off by heart, we just want to see how animated etc. each child can be when taking on a role. Thanks, Aoife and Becky
