Welcome back & Homework 6th-10th January

Welcome back and Happy New Year!

There are a few changes to homework for this term, so please read this blog post carefully.

Weaving Wellbeing - Please ensure that all tasks up to and including Lesson 5 have been completed (weeks 1-4 were homework from previous weeks)

Spellings – English & Gaeilge (test every Friday)
Aoife's Class will have slightly different English spelling homework (please see the end of this blog post for more information)

Gaeilge – Reading Léigh sa Bhaile
   Monday and Tuesday night read and answer the questions (verbally) for 'Ag Scipeáil sa Chlós' lch.19 
  Wednesday and Thursday night read and answer the questions (verbally)  for ‘Ar Maidin’ lch. 20
These answers do not need to be written down. 
This is a chance to practise reading and comprehension skills as Gaeilge.


English: Reading – Read library book for 10 minutes every evening (don't forget to write a book review once you have finished)

Writing – Grammar worksheet: Please complete days 15 and 16 by Friday

Maths – Tables Champion p. 18: 2 times tables - these need to be learned off-by-heart, this may take more than simply completing the 4 tasks

Country & Capital - Denmark & Copenhagen 






Aoife's Class only:

Aoife's class are trialing a new spelling program called 'Spellings for me'. This has already been explained to the class. If you would like any information please see this link https://www.spellingsforme.ie/, otherwise, please feel free to email me (Aoife) your queries.

The username and password is child dependent. It will be your child's first name + the first letter of their surname + the number 1.

The password is the same as above username.

e.g. my username and password would be: aoifem1
