Homework 16th-20th September


1.       Spellings – English & Gaeilge (test every Friday)
·      For Gaeilge, you need to try and learn how to spell the question and the answer; however, we will mainly focus on the spelling of the answers to the questions.

2.       Gaeilge – Reading Léigh sa Bhaile
·         Monday and Tuesday night read and (orally) answer the questions for Scoil Naomh Áine lch.3
·         Wednesday and Thursday night read and (orally) answer the questions for Is Fearr Liom lch.4

3.       English – Read library book for 10 minutes every evening

4.       Writing - put 5 trickiest spellings into 'super' sentences to show their meaning
·         (use a dictionary if unsure of the meanings of some words)

5.       Maths – Tables Champion p. 8 (+3, -3)

6.       Memorise this week’s Country and Capital City – try to spell them correctly also.
·         Country: France               
·         Capital City: Paris

Script for 3rd Class Performance - The Bee Musical Please note: We will be adapting the script over the next couple of weeks, so have decided not to print it yet. Anyone who would like to audition for a 'bigger' part should choose a page or two to rehearse ahead of the mini auditions tomorrow. I (Aoife) reccommend practising the 'Grumble Bee' lines as it will give a good indication of who is suited to which role. Grumble Bee has to show a range of emotions and has a number of lines. Remember, just practise a page or two worth of lines - the audition will not be long.
